I have the same processor and graphics card as you but in an Aspire. I loved the details and the links. I would like to put your advice to use but my laptop is still too new. Thank you for explaining everything i need to know.

I have came up with come cheats/bugs of the game.
Actually you can copy your items through shared stash. It is available because shared stash have separate file for saving it.
Using this way may be tiering because you have to turn ON/OFF the game all the time.
But if you have gained “Brom’s Roughhide Tonic – Permanently increases Defense by 2″
You can copy it again and again, and again…
First you got 1 than 2 than 4 than 8 than 16 and MORE…
If this potion cumulates in one spot up to 20 you can have after 9 ON/OFF 512 potions of the same kind.
If you want money you can copy some expensive stuff and sell it all over again and again…
And your new acquired cash can be used to upgrade your inventory.
If you copy all your save file you can copy your character and upgrade your stuff without danger of breaking it.

Maybe someone came up with this or not. If you don’t want to look for MOD just use this way.
